Shelter Rental Information
Shelters are available to rent seven days a week and may be rented up to six months in advance. Same-day rentals are not permitted. Allow ample time for set-up and clean-up as the shelter must be cleaned by the end of the rental time. Painters tape may be used to affix decorations. The use of push pins, staples, or tape to affix decorations is prohibited. All trash must be disposed in the park receptacles. All cigarette butts must be disposed properly.
Personal grills are not permitted in the picnic shelter or parking lot. A pig cooker is allowed pending park staff approval in advance of the rental. Park staff will direct the renter to the location where the pig cooker must be placed and remain throughout the event. Pig cookers must be attended at all times. A drip pan must be placed underneath the cooker to prevent damage to the underlying surface.
Additional tables and seating are a violation of the fire code and are not allowed along walkways or in the parking lot. Picnic tables are stationary and do not move. Loud noises of any kind are prohibited, and amplified music and DJs are not allowed. Inflatables, extension cords, canopies and tents, and alcohol are not allowed.
