Holly Springs is home to 35,000 residents, and we're growing. The town's downtown Village District is located in the heart of Holly Springs. The district includes Town Hall, the Holly Springs Cultural Center and library, the town farmers market (open Saturdays May through mid-October), the Hunt Recreation Center, historic homes and springs, and about 60 businesses - several located at Mims Towne Square, which includes a local tavern. The Coworking Station adjacent to Town Hall is home to about 20 downtown businesses. Sidewalks connect downtown with nearby parks, greenways and neighborhoods. The town's annual Happy Holly Days Christmas Parade marches through every December. In all, it's a great place to be, and we'd love to have you here!

To stimulate development in the Village District, the Holly Springs Town Council adopted a Downtown Development Investment Policy. It provides for possible assistance with infrastructure costs and development fee reductions. These are considered case by case. For more information, contact the Economic Development office.

The town also is building a downtown gathering place that will include a regional storm water collection and filtration area serving more than 20 acres and numerous developable properties. Around the water, the park will provide a place for community activities, such as concerts and events, and also area for walking and biking. Click here for details.
