Holly Springs Cemetery is located on 8.54 acres at the corner of Earp and Burt streets. Plots at the cemetery are available for sale through the Town. About Purchasing a Plot
One or more 5x10’ plots can be purchased. The Town provides a deed of easement and a map. Before burial, the Town charges an administrative fee for Town staff to mark the plot, allowing the funeral home to open the grave for burial. Both caskets and urns may be buried in the Town’s cemetery, and a vault is required to seal remains. Visitors may place flowers at grave sites, but no planted vegetation is permitted, allowing the Town to maintain the grounds. No structures other than markers are allowed on plots. For more information and fees, click here to view the cemetery policy.
More about the Cemetery
The Town’s cemetery holds the graves of some of the Town’s founding families. The property originally held an all-boy preparatory school and a church. After the church building was relocated to its present location, the Town acquired the church's cemetery and surrounding property.
